Andrews Hall - Marietta College

A new student union, providing improved activity spaces, was created in this unoccupied 1890s building at Marietta College. The historic brick, stone and slate roofed Romanesque building was evaluated for specific programming and space needs. Subsequent renovation provided space for a lounge, new activity areas, coffee house, meeting rooms, student organization space, and a multi-purpose room seating 300. Having previously been used for storage, this building, with its arched entries and 70-foot tower, establishes a campus focal point and unique recruiting tool for the college.
