The new regional branch library is designed around a central circulation spine running the length of the building and features an “informational marketplace” comprised of the circulation desk, a periodicals room, a job center and information center. While the interior of the building incorporates wooden beams, stained glass windows and other details from a nearby historic structure that was torn down, the exterior of the building is designed to reflect the scale and context of the surrounding residential community.
