Space for a new Student Services Center and related administrative functions was created in a connector addition between two existing campus buildings. The exterior was designed to create a presence among newer, more monumental buildings and it incorporates an entry that invites people into the building. The interior features a new atrium space and is the first stop for new students. Its user-friendly space features clear pathways and visual queues to lead the unfamiliar through the otherwise complex admissions and registration process. Other features of the connector addition are efficient and flexible work spaces for faculty and staff and an open lounge and meeting space for students.
