Tim Velazco, NCARB
Since joining Schooley Caldwell, Tim has become an experienced project manager knowledgeable in historic tax credit projects, fast-track projects, design-assist contracts, and design-build contracts. His role as project manager for the Cristo Rey Columbus High School renovation, a $15 million dollar historic tax credit project, is a testament to his ability. He has also worked in various other roles, including construction document production, construction administration, and architectural support on a range of building types.
Tim has also become our in-house expert on historic windows due to his experience and vast research endeavors at the Minnesota State Capitol. He also excels in technical and code analysis roles, thanks to his strong attention to detail.
Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from The Ohio State University, a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati, and is a registered architect in the state of Ohio (he knew at the age of seven that he wanted to be an architect – that enduring goal was realized last year when he became licensed!). Tim is one of our office “coffee snobs,” (a label he wears proudly!), and also enjoys golf and traveling. His wife Emily is a small animal veterinarian, and they recently bought a home in Bexley.
