Wayne is a Construction Administration and Estimator for Schooley Caldwell and works mostly in the field to monitor construction for compliance with our plans and specifications. He started in construction by working with his grandfather’s construction company for 15 years; during this time Wayne was exposed to every aspect of the business, from field labor to upper management, which enabled him to start his own small construction company prior to coming to work for Schooley Caldwell in 2004. Wayne also had the opportunity to mentor many young apprentices who have gone on to manage and run their own businesses.
Wayne is currently working on the North Residential District Transformation (NRDT) project at The Ohio State University. When NRDT is complete he will have successfully completed over $520M of construction administration work at OSU. Wayne has also completed projects at Ohio University, Miami University, Columbus State Community College, the City of Columbus, State of Ohio, Franklin County, and private entities.
Wayne is an enthusiastic football fan and enjoys golfing, gardening, cooking and travel. He is aspiring to learn his wife’s native language (Estonian) and recently visited Estonia and Finland. He currently resides in Dublin with his wife, daughter, and a very spoiled dog.
