Projected to be complete in late 2017, the new Michael B. Coleman Governmental Center and garage are coming together nicely. This 180,000 square foot building will consolidate four city departments currently housed in different buildings around Columbus. It has been designed around the concept of an efficient “one-stop shop” for residents and businesses to take care of a multitude of transactions, including utility payments, building permits, and more.
Since the weather has been so perfect lately, the entire firm decided to head over and take a look at the progress. Here are some highlights from our tour, which started on the roof and ended in the basement.
